Day 3 - Is that Scale Right? Six Pounds!
Posted by admin on 11/2/06 in Isagenix
It’s now Day 3 of the Isagenix Diet and yup.. Iza Hungry…
But the hunger is manageable and seeing the results is extremely motivating… Six Pounds in 60 hours.. Yes.. I know.. still mostly water weight.
While they recommend 20 Minutes of daily exercise I haven’t been able to fit that in my 12 hour workday as of yet, but I plan to begin exercising over the weekend.
So yes, that’s six pounds without exercise, and I grabbed the tape measure and overall I’ve lost 4 inches.
The rest of today is going to be pretty easy and I expect the Caffeine withdrawal headache and the hunger pangs to begin fading by tomorrow.. I should see even more dramatic weight loss by Saturday..

Started the cleanse today (Jan 2nd)I have high blood pressure and was rather concerned with mixing herbs with medication. Did well until I took the excelarator and felt some weird pains in my left arm. I don’t like surprizes and was extremely worried to say the least. Never the less I will stop that pill but keep going. Is there anyone our there taking this product and has high bood pressure?

I took the 30-day program and split it with my husband. I have a great deal of weight to loose and have tried every diet there is including doctor followed plans. I have never had much luck. I actually lost weight with this program. The first week is the hardest but after that it was a piece of cake. I won’t say how much I weight but I will tell you I dropped two full sizes in 30-days. I stopped the diet and switched to slimfast and watching what I ate after the 30 days and again no results. I plan on ordering this again this week and sticking on it until I have lost the weight I need. On another note. If your on any medications be careful with the pills in the plan. Some herbal products can intensify certain medications such as blood pressure and heart medications. My advice, but I am not a doctor or expert. You can skip the pills if you have to and still loose weight. Since I had split up the program with my husband we did not have enough of everything and I took the pills he did not. He still lost 30 pounds in 30 days and he was not very over weight he only has 20 more to go before he reaches his goal.
I highly recommend the Isagenix program if you can afford it. But keep in mind you are eating a lot less so your grocery bill will be lower???

I have had medium high bp all my adult life. I did the 30 day cleanse and towards the end, just for fun, measured my bp. I was shocked to find that it had gone down to 120/75. I have a slow metabolism (@42) and have had no side affects from the accelorator caps. Maybe one a day in the morn would work for you.
Let me know how it has come out.

Isagenix has worked great for me. I did the 2 day pre-cleanse and I’m on day 8 of the 9 day program. I started at 237 and I’m down to 223. I’m going to do another 9-day cycle. I’m 6′1, so if I can drop down to 210-215 I’m happy.
For the most part I don’t feel any side effects, but sometimes I start to feel a little warm. Also, on day 3 and day 8 (today) I’ve had really bad headaches. Maybe it’s because of all the Diet Coke I used to drink. It’s temporary though and I can honestly say this is the best program I’ve ever done. Also, maybe the side effects are also part of the cleansing process which flushes all the bad stuff out of your system.
Once I’m done with Isagenix I’m going to do the Dr Natura colon cleansing. It’s not intended for weight loss or anything, but really flushes out your colon and gets rid of all those bacterias, worms, and other things living inside of you.

My husband started Isegenix 30 days ago and has gone from a size 50 to a size 40 jean! In our 20 yrs of marriage, he has NEVER worn anything smaller than a 44. He only does the two shakes a day, no daily exercise and still drinks his beer at night.
A friend saw his weightloss and ordered the 30 day cleanse kit on the 20th and she has lost 11 1/2 lbs as of today.
I wasn’t convinced before…but now I am and I start tomorrow!

I am interested doing the 9 day program but I am wondering whether there is aspartame or msg in it. I don’t want to spend the money and then suffer. Does it have these additives?

I have been on Isagenix for 2 months. I have lost 12 pounds, which I lost the first two weeks. I am at a stand-still.
I have been experiencing headaches all the time. Maybe they have nothing to do with the program, I don’t know. Also my heart is skipping beats. Does anyone else have those symptoms?
I had high blood pressure. My blood pressure is now 105/75 and I am no longer taking my bp medication.

You probably need to make sure you are eating the Snacks a couple of hrs after your SHAKE.
Make sure on your eat days that you EAT and get
the required number of calories to keep stimulating your metabolism. I’ve found I forget to eat on these products because I’m simply not hungry - and in the past I lived to EAT. Never had anyting work like this!!!Eat your SNACKS, eat almonds, eat Isadelights they do not intefere with the weight loss and support your blood sugar. hm

I just began Isagenix. I am on my 3rd. day. Today is my cleansing day. My only issue is that I feel starved. I like the taste of every thing but I feel very food deprived. I do not have headaches as I only consume and not every day, one cup of coffee in the morning. I am having hot flashes and my face is red and flushed today. I am also very crabby today. My fiance started with Isagenix first and he has lost 20 lbs in his first month. I am hoping to finally shed the weight from my second child and I hope to gain energy. I have always been between 118-120 until a few years ago, but with age and a second child twelve years after my first, the weight has not come off. I can walk three miles a day every day and nothing happens. I hope that my metabolism gets a good kick start with Isagenix.

I am on day (8) and doing fantastic! I have my own daily blog but came across your post so thought I would answer it.
Yes, by all means you could split the 15 days with your Mom…
I had actually 56kgs to lose (123.2lbs) when I started 8 days ago. No one sold me the product, I am not an Isagenix agent or spammer!
I researched the www to see what might help me lose weight as I have tried every diet known to man with little success! I have had an “insulin” resistancy problem, and have never had an overweight problem in my life until the last 18 months - 2 years. Short story, i have tried everything, from WW, CS, TF, Optifast, JC, just fruit and veges, walked, exercised, you name it and most I would lose would be around 2-4kgs per 6 - 8 weeks! (8.8)
Anyway, I came across the Isagenix hall of fame and read every single story and many stories like me i.e. ladies who had tried everything else! Sounded like me, so I searched a New Zealand Isagenix site and bought the 30 day programme. I follow it as it says and yes, it is expensive and you do need to be disciplined, like any new regime, but this stuff really does work, works incredibly well! I had my first measure and weigh in on day 6 and on day 6 I had lost a total of 5.3kgs! (11.7lbs) + 33cms (13 inches) !!! I believe those results for me to be extraordinary! Clearly my little body underneath this all fat is screaming to get out. I am rapt with the results and i can tell I have lost more in these past two days as my exercise pants were too big this morning. The fat is melting off me. IT WORKS when nothing else has.
I have noticed on a few forums that people put this product down, but I think unless you’ve actually been there, and tried the product or have had weight gain issues due to other influences and not just caused through overeating, perhaps give people a break, listen, learn and understand a little better.
I have learned the shallowness of the human race being treated different because i became over weight. Yet this could happen to any human.
I have a long road ahead, but an enjoyable journey with a product that is giving me the results I have sought for quite sometime.
What ever weight loss journey you choose, i wish you well. Being slim and healthy is so worth it
